For manufacturers & distributors Get your catalog listed. Every part links back to your own page, found by spec instead of by name.
WHAT LISTING MEANS
OpenSpec Index is a parts search engine, not a marketplace. We don’t sell your parts, host your files, or sit between you and the buyer. We index the specifications and point straight back to you.
- Every part record carries a source link back to your product page or datasheet, and the date it was last checked. We don’t claim the data, we cite it.
- Buyers find your parts by searching a specification (thread size, material, pressure class, temperature rating), not just by part number or brand name. That includes engineers, purchasers, and AI agents doing the same search on your behalf.
- CAD and datasheet links go straight to your site. We don’t rehost your files; the click lands on your page.
- Pricing shown, if any, is a link to a distributor listing at the time it was read, never a price we set.
If your catalog already has a distributor presence, being listed here is mostly upside: more surface area for the exact same product pages you already maintain, with no separate account or upload workflow to run on your end.
HOW TO GET LISTED
Reach out below with a link to your catalog, spec sheets, or distributor listings, and which lines you want indexed. We take it from there: identifying the specification gates that matter for your part families, matching existing records, and adding what’s missing. There’s no fee and no exclusivity requirement.
Already flagged in our data as something that shouldn’t be public, or want a listing corrected or removed? The same address handles takedown requests, and the Terms lay out the process.
